About
Pocket Quarry started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other screenshots of weird little mobile games. At some point we realized we were writing more thoughtful notes to each other than most review sites bother to publish, so we moved it here.,We only cover games we've installed and played ourselves, usually for at least a few hours each. No ghostwritten posts, no reviews based on trailers. If something feels thin after twenty minutes, we say so.,How we pick: we hunt across every genre, not just puzzles. We read community threads, follow small developers, and sometimes just scroll stores until something odd catches our eye. Variety matters to us more than chasing whatever is trending.,The site is independent and runs on our own time. If that means we post a little slower than the big outlets, so be it. We'd rather be late and right.
Lukas Vogel — Lukas has been reviewing mobile games since the first touchscreens made them playable. He handles most of the long-form pieces and argues about frame rates when nobody asks.
